| Wow, this is great ! Nice to see my Android how he would have looked back in the day, not the worn shadow he is now lol. This one's missiles didn't last even until the end of the Xmas holidays. They were meant to clip onto his back when not in use but got fired and lost very soon. Hey, I was only about 9 at the time ! |

I agree!!! A few years ago I'd dream of owning some Takara 12" Cyborg stuff.
Guy sent me colour copies of photos of his collection, etc.
NOW???
I have a few boxed figures, all the 12" versions of the Denys Fisher ones
and even some outfits and figures I'd never heard of!!!
It's a SMALLER world today than it was 20 years ago Alex!!!
You WILL get what you look for.

As long as you get ready to shell out some cash and start bidding on YJP, you can get anything pretty easily. I've gotten some stuff in the sale section SB for pretty cheap. I think I got my Invader for $125. _________________ http://atomicrayguns.blogspot.com/ |

The cash is the clincher.
Ten years ago I was doing one day a week at college to better myself, too poor to own a PC and I used to duck into the college IT rooms every break and look at toys on that wonderful new thing, the Internet. They had tutors patrolling to make sure you weren't using the PCs for non study related things. I had a boring document from work to maximize when they loomed.
Some Japanese collector had a site with a photo of Henshin Cyborg, King Walder and Chojin Android with their Denys Fisher counterparts in front of them. I never dreamed I would have the opportunity or the money to own the same line-up (okay, my gold HC and purple KWI are reissues). |

True, Cash is King, but NOW prices have dropped to a more
attainable level!
Just the thought of having to cough up £600 for a boxed figure 16 years ago was mind blowing!
Same figure now id about £300! |

Shame Denys Fisher never opted for the human style head for their Android as well, would've been well cool if he had that as an interchangable head eh? _________________ A toy ahead of its time |
